Outside mirrors
Mirror assembly
1. Remove the door trim panel (Door trim panels – removal and installation).
2. On power mirrors, unplug the electrical connector.
3. Remove the nuts and detach the mirror from the door (see illustration).

4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Mirror glass
5. Tilt the mirror fully downward.
6. Carefully pull the top edge of the mirror out to release the upper clips.
7. Detach the lower clips and lift off the mirror.
8. Disconnect any wiring.
9. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Inside mirror
10. Remove the setscrew, then slide the mirror up off the support base on the windshield (see illustration). On models with optional automatic day/night mirror, disconnect the electrical connector first.

11. Installation is the reverse of removal.
12. If the support base for the mirror has come off the windshield, it can be reattached with a special mirror adhesive kit available at auto parts stores. Clean the glass and support base thoroughly and follow the directions on the adhesive package. Note: Don’t try to glue the bracket on in cold weather.
