Stabilizer bar (rear) – removal and installation
Note: This procedure applies only to models with coil spring rear suspension.
1. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands.
2. Remove the nuts from the stabilizer bar ends (see illustration).
14.2 Rear stabilizer bar link bolt locations
3. Remove the stabilizer bar brackets from the rear axle assembly (see illustration).
14.3 Rear stabilizer bar clamp bolts – check the clamp bushings for wear and replace them if necessary
4. Remove the stabilizer bar.
5. Inspect the bushings for wear and damage and replace them as required.
6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
