Air filter housing – removal and installation
1. Disconnect the wiring connectors from the sensors.
2. Loosen the hose clamp that secures the air intake duct to the upper half of the air filter housing, then detach the duct.
3. Remove the housing mounting bolt (see illustration).

4. Pull the air filter housing straight up to disengage the locator pins from their grommets.
5. While the air filter housing is removed, inspect the rubber locator pin grommets for cracks, tears and deterioration. If they’re damaged, replace them.
6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
