Shifter (8HP45/845RE 8-speed models) – removal and installation
1. Disconnect the cable (s) from the negative battery terminal(s) (see Engine electrical systems).
2. Remove the center instrument panel bezel (see Body).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the shifter.
4. Remove the shifter-to-instrument panel bezel mounting screws and shifter from the back side of the panel.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
