Tie-rod end lubrication (diesel models)
(every 6,000 miles or 6 months)
1. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Clean the grease fitting on each outer tie-rod end with a rag.
2. Use a conventional grease gun to apply sufficient lubricant to the fittings. Don’t apply so much that an excessive amount comes out.
3. Wipe any extra grease and dirt from the areas with a rag.
