Oil pressure relief valve – replacement
1. Disconnect the cables from the negative terminals of the batteries (see Engine electrical systems).
2. Remove the threaded plug, spring and valve from the oil filter assembly.
3. Clean the oil pressure relief valve bore thoroughly with solvent and compressed air.
4. Install the plunger, spring and plug and torque the oil pressure relief valve plug to the Specifications listed in this Chapter.
